  • Try this. When you’re stuck in a loop of thinking about the same problems over and over again, make a shift to the solution. Rather than fixating on the negative, brain storm some possible solutions in your journal. How can I turn this around ? What benefits are here ? What action steps could I take ? What can I learn here ? How can I do it differently moving forward ? What can I control right now? You may not find the answer in that moment, but you’ve planted the seed in your mind that you’re looking for it. You’ve made the shift to go from fixed, to growth mindset during that brain storm. Keep practicing. You have all the answers already within you.   • Do you make goals with your partner ? What about with your kids? Personal growth extends outside of ourselves. When we build our partners or children into our visions and goals we can each rise individually, together. Consider as a couple, what do you want to accomplish? As a family, what’s the biggest vision you can achieve together in each stage. The baby stage, kindergarten and school age, pre teens, teenagers, and beyond. Keep coming back and revising these visions together and find ways YOU can show up as a supporter in each members own vision. Especially as your children grow into ages where they can communicate their dreams and goals to you, make sure to know what they are. What individual goals do each one of you have that will require action or support from one another within the family? Going into the long weekend, maybe one topic around the dinner table could be listening to each other’s dreams, visions and goals. I’m grateful for these minds we each have that are always capable of expanding.
